Policies A-Z

Anti-Bullying

We are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all of our members so they can participate in football in a relaxed and secure atmosphere.  Bullying of any kind is unacceptable at our club.  If bullying does occur, all club members or parents should be able to tell and know that incidents will be dealt with promptly and effectively.  We are a TELLING club, this means that anyone who knows that bullying is happening is expected to tell the Club Welfare Officer(s) or any committee members in confidence.  The Club is committed to playing its part to teach players to treat each other with respect.

Images

At times the Club may wish to take photos or videos of the team or individuals in it. We adhere to The FA Guidelines to ensure these are safe and respectful and used solely for the purpose for which they are intended, which is promotion and celebration of the activities of the Club and for training purposes.

Loan of Football Kit

The Club will loan each member a kit and training jacket on the following basis; (i) the kit is to be worn only by the player, on match days and tournaments (or on the request of the team coach), and is not to be worn for training (with the exception of training jacket), or on any other occasion, without prior permission of the Club. (ii) the kit is to be returned to the Club when the player ceases being a member of the Club, or on the request of an official of the Club. (iii) upon its return, the kit is to be in a good condition. Any missing or damaged items will be charged for at the appropriate replacement price.

Non- Football Activities

There may be occasions when your child is involved in planned and structured non-football activities such as a trip or participating in a fund raising event. The Club will have collected appropriate information in preparation for the activity, identified any potential risks or dangers, minimised the risk and dangers by careful planning and precautions and made sure we know who is responsible for putting precautions into place. This process is called a risk assessment.

Travel

Arrangements will be made to collect and return children to specific pick up points. The Club’s responsibility stops and starts at these points. It is your responsibility to arrange safe travel to and from the pick up points. If you are ever delayed in collecting your child, please make every effort to contact your Club Contact(s) so we can discuss arrangements for your child.
