On 27th June Strensall Tigers U7s played in a competition at Barcelona Nou Camp. 29 of us travelled to Barcelona including 10 players (9 Boys and 1 girl) 3 Coaches and strong supporting party of 16.
The very lucky children were involved in this one day event, playing 3 matches on the training ground pitches and 2 inside the Nou Camp! The children were taken into one of the presidential suites, before preparing themselves in the players dressing rooms and then announced to spectators as they walked out the players’ tunnel to Champions League music.
This was truly a memorable and magical day which none of the travelling party will ever forget.
